Tell us something about you

As a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have fond memories of Skiing, camping and hiking in the local Mountains. So being part of a fire crew I feel at home while on fire assignments. When the fire season ends I feel saddened, but look forward to the next year's events. I wish I would have entered into wildland firefighting at an earlier age because of the people I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I am a believer of working hard and staying busy, whether it is cleaning the offices, Engines, or training with the crews. At this time I can't see myself doing anything else. I come from a Law enforcement /Military family; I have always been into some form of government employment. As time goes on I will not be able to keep up with a hand crew and dread that day. But until then I will do the best job I can, I can honestly say that I will always be involved with wildland fire fighting in some capacity.
